Thomlang – Cambodian Youth Support is committed to enabling young Cambodians in obtaining various degrees and certificates, that will better their chances in Cambodia’s modern and ever-growing job market.
This is the reason why we encouraged Gung and Srey Nich, who are two young and ambitious university students who dream of working for international organizations in the future, to enroll in an English language course.
The Australian Center of Education (ACE) is considered one of Phnom Penh’s best English schools. Foreign teachers mentor Cambodian students through a total of 12 English levels and students receive an official certificate upon completion.

Hello everybody!
I am so grateful that you all support Gung and me to study at the Australian Centre for Education! There were so many reasons why we wanted to register for their English classes. For one, ACE is the best English school in Phnom Penh. Many students want to get their English certificates here. ACE offers a lot of good lectures and great teachers that teach us in writing, listening, reading, and speaking.
For us, the best reason to study there is that they will give us a certificate after we finish all 12 levels. We can use this certificate to apply to study or work in other countries and to apply to work for international organizations in our country.

Srey Nich and Gung
Gung and Srey Nich already passed 5 terms this year and are currently studying in level 7. They will most likely complete the course by the end of 2022, after which CYS will continue to support them in learning a third language, such as Chinese or Japanese.
By financing these classes and supporting Srey Nich and Gung in obtaining official language certificates, CYS is able to lay an important foundation for their professional careers. Being fluent in both, spoken and written English will open many doors for Srey Nich and Gung in the future.
