Chovey’s ACE Course

English language proficiency is crucial in Phnom Penh’s modern labor market. As Cambodia’s capital continues to grow, international job opportunities are becoming increasingly common, and require English proficiency their applicants.

Thomlang – Cambodian Youth Support puts great emphasis on preparing the young adults for a job market, that will continue to develop and change drastically throughout the coming decades. Therefore, CYS encourages many students to enroll in the Australian Centre for Education, a renowned English language school, that awards its graduates with a language proficiency certificate upon graduation of 12 language levels. ACE graduates of this immensely popular program are widely accepted in Cambodia as having the minimum English language proficiency required for employment in an English-speaking environment.

One of our newest ACE students is Chovey, who will tell you about her experience below:

Dear supporters,

My name is Chovey and I would like to tell you a little bit about my English school. Nowadays I’m studying at ACE in Phnom Penh. I already passed a few levels, and now I am in the General English Program in level 7B. I really like to study there because the teachers teach very well. I want to improve my English skills and to get a language certificate. This will help me a lot with my Master’s Degree and my job.

I would like to say thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to study at ACE.

I wish you stay healthy and good luck.
Best wishes,
Chovey
