Thomlang – Cambodian Youth Support does not only support students through education but also through health care.
We reached out to Cambodia World Family, an international organization that provides dental services to orphaned, abandoned, handicapped, and institutionalized children in Phnom Penh. Through our correspondence with Cambodia World Family’s country director, we were able to establish an agreement that allows our students to seek dental check-ups and dental cleaning twice a year for an affordable price.
So far this year, many of our students have already undergone cleanings. For a few of our students, this was the first time ever getting a dental check from a dentist and they had several issues that had to get treated. CYS covers any costs for any form of treatments that our students need, including cavity treatments, root canal treatments, dental crown and prosthesis implantation, and more.
